My first blog...

Well, here it is people - my first blog. It's funny how I'm almost nervous about this! I'm sitting here in the lab waiting for an experiment to wrap up so I can go enjoy the holiday. What better way to make the time pass then to write aimless thoughts on a computer for all to see?:)

In case anyone actually reads this and wonders "why the blog?" - well, it's not so much because I think my life is so interesting that it necessitates writing to the masses (or even that people are dying to hear what I have to say). Mostly it's my need for something new:) So I hope you enjoy my new-found thing to do!

And so it comes time for me to attend to my experiments - todays experiments include staining tissue samples with antibodies that glow a pretty shade of green under fluorescent light (that is, provided it works!)
